UTS Shopfront is a transformative experience for many students at UTS, and now this important work is being recognised on a national level. The UTS Shopfront program has been nominated in the Future Builder category of the Universities Australia Shaping Australia Awards.

This award celebrates an individual or a team who has gone above and beyond to equip their students with the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in the world.

UTS Shopfront strives to support and enhance the connection between our students and the community as a whole, with an innovative approach that sees students take on the role of consultants and work with community organisations to create real-world outcomes. Voting is now open and will close on 19 January 2024. Head over to the official Shaping Australia Awards site to vote. You can vote for Shopfront by clicking on the ‘Vote now’ button, indicated with a heart icon on the right side of the page. Clicking on this button will ask for your name and email address, then allow you to cast your vote.
